Practice Description:

A true Biological/ Holistic Dental practice w/ an emphasis on non toxic comprehensive care since 1987. We have had a safe amalgam removal protocol as Dr Sambataro was an early student of the late Dr. Hal Huggins. The strict protocol includes closed operatories to prevent the spread of mercury vapor thru out the office. Most offices have an open operatory which does not protect other personnel or other patients during mercury amalgam removal. Also the operatory includes the latest in high quality air filtration, negative ion generators and a special suction unit to remove mercury vapor. We adhere to all the safety protocols including pre, during and post nutrition, a vinyl dental dam and full nasal oxygen coverage, to mention a few. We also believe in the research of Dr. Weston Price regarding the toxicity of Root Canal therapy. We dont pretend to mislead pts that root canal therapy is acceptable even w/ dental lasers, Endo Cal, ozone , etc. We provide dental DNA testing of root canals to support the toxicty of this therapy. Go to www.toxicfreedentistry.com for more info. Our office takes a comprehensive approach so initially patients have a 2-3 hr evaluation. This is followed by an hr consultation w/ Dr. Sambataro where he will present you w/ a customized treatment plan. We will evaluate the importance of foundational Dentistry which includes evaluation of periodontal health, TMD issues and most important sleep disordered breathing. Theses issues must be addressed before providing any final restorative therapies axs well eliminating any dental toxicity.
