New Research On Mercury’s effects on DNA – Appendix XV

2025-08-11T05:26:51-04:00

DNA/RNA is altered by Prenatal Mercury Exposure In the FDA’s 186-page report on the Epidemiological Evidence on the Adverse Health Effects Reported in Relation to Mercury from Dental Amalgam: A systematic literature (2010 – Present) released in September 2019, there were several omissions. One of them was the lack of any reporting on the effects of mercury on DNA and RNA. It is well-known that alterations in DNA/RNA can lead to genetic disorders, developmental problems and increase risk of cancer and other disease. Since 2019, much more research has been conducted in the arena. Here we present a summary of [...]

These silver-colored fillings are 50% mercury and are still used in the United States, often in disadvantaged children and adults. (https://desertrose.com/) All dental amalgams are silver-colored and contain about 50% mercury. These fillings are still being used in the U.S. even though they have been associated with health risks. In this new study, researchers David and Mark Geier report on a significant relationship between [...]

National Research Council Review of Drinking Water Standards for Fluoride

2018-01-22T11:57:00-05:00

FLUORIDE IN DRINKING WATER: A Scientific Review of EPA’s Standards published 2006 A 400 page report that reviews all the knowledge up to that time concerning the effects of fluoride in drinking water on organs, tissues and susceptible human populations. This report predates most of the publications that demonstrate negative effects of ingested fluoride on children's IQ.   DRINKING-WATER STANDARDS Maximum Contaminant Level Goal In light of the collective evidence on various health end points and total exposure to fluoride, the committee concludes that EPA’s MCLG of 4 mg/L should be lowered. Lowering the MCLG will prevent children from developing [...]

News Headline: Health officials kill proposal to curb mercury dental fillings By Greg Gordon ggordon@mcclatchydc.com Updated July 28, 2015 11:54 AM WASHINGTON Senior U.S. health officials have squelched a Food and Drug Administration proposal that for the first time would have curbed dentists’ use of mercury – one of the planet’s nastiest toxins because it attacks the central nervous system – in treating Americans’ decayed teeth. The proposal (hyperlinked in the article - see attached, FDA-SILVERFILLINGS-WARNING) , approved by top FDA officials in late 2011 and kept secret since, would have told dentists they should not use mercury fillings in [...]

Composite Restorations are Superior to Amalgam Restorations – Appendix II

2025-08-06T00:44:47-04:00

The truth is that many composites are superior to amalgam. A 1994 study by the prestigious Clinical Research Associates group of Provo, Utah, examined 21 dental filling materials over a 3-year period. They ranked each according to wear, marginal adaptation (closeness of fit to the tooth), surface smoothness, wear of opposing teeth, breakage and color match. Amalgam was ranked 14th in overall strength, durability and effectiveness behind 11 composite filling materials and two porcelain/ceramic materials. Ten of the top 11 materials were composites. The study also showed that recurrent decay and root canal therapy did not happen often enough on [...]

People at Risk from Mercury Amalgam Fillings per FDA – Appendix XIV

2025-08-06T13:31:50-04:00

According to FDA 2020 Guidelines Based on FDA recommendations released in September 2020, over 85% of the US population is at risk for adverse reactions from mercury exposure created by dental amalgam fillings.1 If it is dangerous for this large of a segment of the population, why are we considering using them for anyone? People with Neurological Diseases (17%): In a systematic analysis of the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2017 study published in JAMA, data on incidence, prevalence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life-years of major neurological disorders in the US were derived. Approximately 1 in 6 adults were estimated to [...]

Dental Anesthetics

2025-06-26T12:30:18-04:00

IAOMT Statement on Dental Anesthetics Local anesthetics have long been accepted as safe and essential mainstays of modern dental and medical practice. However, the IAOMT continues to receive inquiries regarding the possible presence of graphene oxide in dental anesthetics such as Lidocaine, Mepivacaine and Articaine. We are aware that some private investigators have identified what they believe is graphene oxide in some dental anesthetic solutions. However, other laboratories using similar analytical techniques cannot confirm its presence in any of the samples provided. Moreover, these researchers have thus far been unwilling to release their findings in a public forum. IAOMT scientific [...]

The ADA Ignores the Science of Fluoride Harm

2024-12-30T12:39:51-05:00

The American Dental Association (ADA) has long been a leading voice in promoting fluoride as a cornerstone of public dental health policy. However, in light of recent scientific developments, the organization's unyielding stance on fluoride is raising serious concerns. This is especially true regarding the ADA's disregard for decades of scientific studies presented during the federal lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) concerning fluoride added to community drinking water.
