Our family has had the privilege to support families with their oral health needs for over four generations. Through building these multi-generational relationships, we developed a secondary service outside of our brick-n-mortar dental practice that includes mobile delivery of comprehensive dental care to geriatric and special needs patients who reside in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or who are unable to leave their private homes to visit our office.Our patients typically have more advanced and/or severe comorbidities to manage including but not limited to dementia and Alzheimer's, heart disease, chronic pain, among others. We have been treating patients via this model for 30 years now, with an emphasis on managing chronic disease, preventing pain and infection, restoring functional for optimized nutrition and speech, and supporting ongoing health to maximize each patient's quality-of-life. We've implemented many of IAOMT's guiding principles to further support the overall health of these patients.
