Practice Description:
I train dental healthcare providers to use the phase contrast microscope to assess biofilm samples for risk of oral and systemic disease. The moment I started using the microscope, I wondered why I had never heard of this before. All my microscope using hygiene friends feel the same way and we don’t know how we could ever practice without one. I want to share my love of the microscope and how it can transform the hygiene experience. A wealth of knowledge is revealed in one microscope slide.
