Dr. Huguette Duteau received her degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington D.C. She was the recipient of the prestigious Restorative Award and was voted Best Hands by her peers in her graduating class. Dr. Duteau furthered her training during her General Practice Residency at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University at Harlem Hospital in New York City. During her residency, Dr. Duteau not only practiced general dentistry but also gained extensive experience in oral surgery.As years went by Dr. Duteau expanded her clinical protocols to include principles of Biological Dentistry. She became an active member of the highly respected International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT). She is currently Board Certified Biological Dentist and is an appointed Board Member of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM). Dr. Duteau trained under the late Dr. Hal Huggins, an internationally recognized “father of holistic dentistry”. His revolutionary approach centers around delicate human biology and naturally occurring immune cycles that must be taken into account when performing “Dental Revisions”.
