Dr. Saffari is a highly skilled, gentle and caring dentist committed to providing leading edge integrated dental treatment with personal attention, using quality products and the latest dental techniques. A graduate of UC Berkeley in 1992, she completed her dental training at Northwestern University in 1996 before practicing four years with the US Air Force.She has special interests and skills in general and children’s dentistry with a holistic approach. She worked for a children’s non-profit organization for a year before establishing American Family dentistry over twelve years ago. She is a member of the Holistic Dental Association and a prospective member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine &Toxicology (IAOMT). Dr Saffari completed her ozone training in 2013 and is proudly the only practitioner providing ozone therapy in the Sacramento area.In 2015, she became certified as a Naturopathic Physician by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board.Dr. Saffari views the mouth as an integral part of the body, one that plays an important role in your overall health. She believes that visiting the dentist should be a relaxed and peaceful experience and she is dedicated to making this a reality.She appreciates the art of arranging flowers and has a growing interest in creative whole food cooking leading to improved health and well-being.
